ACCO Secures HVAC Contract for Stanford Bass Biology Building

The new five level building will require 275,000 CFM of custom air handlers with a heat recovery system piped to custom Lab exhaust air handlers. The distributed heating and cooling system is served by the campus loop chilled water and heating hot water systems. The project includes laboratory airflow controls system and DDC controls by Sunbelt Controls.  

ACCO Recognized by ENR as Best of the Best for Work Performed on Stanford Energy System Innovations

ACCO was recently recognized by Engineering News Record (ENR) for its efforts on the Stanford Energy System Innovations project at the magazine's Best of the Best Awards event in New York City.

As part of the talented project team led by Whiting-Turner, ACCO fabricated and installed 22 miles of pipe throughout the Stanford University campus, connecting 151 buildings to one of the most advanced and efficient central utility plants in the world.
