Built for Turner Construction in 1997-1998, this Pleasanton campus is a total of two
buildings each with two wings - for a total of 348,000 sq. ft. Total package unit
capacity is 1,000 tons. System is evaporative cooled, VAV, Mammoth packages with
VFDs, two per building wing. Heating is hot water reheat with boilers on each building. Main
duct loops are ACCO oval, zones are all acoustical flex with some pre-insulated aluminum
flex duct. There are about 200 tons of water-cooled Mammoth heat pumps and Data Aire
computer room units. Condenser water comes from four BAC, closed-circuit cooling towers
totalling 640 tons of present and future capacity. There is a full kitchen and cafeteria in one
building and a health club in another. Architect and original criteria engineer was HOK, San
Francisco.
