This was the first major Design/Build project for Kaiser
Permanente in Northern California. Project included
enlarging the central plant by adding two new 350-ton
chillers, cooling towers, and a new boiler. The building
systems included four roof mounted VAV air handlers and
complete building build-out. There was kitchen ventilation
and radiology HVAC along with a 24 hour 7 day a week system
for their IT Department and temporary cooling and heating
of the existing MOB while the central plant was under
construction.
