222 Second Street - Plumbing

Location: San Francisco, CA

Date: August 2015

Tishman Speyer commissioned the design and construction of a 26 story class “A” high rise office building. The building is located in the South of Market area of San Francisco. LEED and sustainable building design goals have been at the forefront of the Owner’s vision for the development.

Stormwater retention for irrigation purposes and mitigate stormwater runoff from the site. Prefabricated plumbing systems to enable rapid installation and just in time delivery requirements. Emergency trench drains at firefighter elevator vestibules. Use of alternate plumbing materials and equipment to help meet project budget goals.

ACCO delivered a first-class design-build plumbing project. This project incorporated innovative design first to bring the cost down and still deliver the original project requirement. The project was delivered on time and on budget. Because ACCO was contracted for both HVAC and Plumbing the installation and coordination of trades took place with minimal rework outside of owner-driven changes.
