b"ACCO Hosts High School Students for ACE Build Day at the Commerce GoodrichBy Neville SamuelsMore than 200 high school students from theACE Mentor LA/OC Program visited ACCO's Goodrich facility in Commerce, CA on Saturday, April 20, as part of an ACE Build Day.Since 2002, the ACE Mentor LA/OC Program has been exposing high school students to careers in architecture, construction and engineering.Twice a month, ACE brings professionals from these three fields to schools to teach and mentor the students. A typical team matches half a dozen professional mentors with 24 students in grades 10-12. The mentors and their mentees meet afterschool during the academic year.
