This project is a complete remodel of an existing one-story vacant building for the purpose of semiconductor Manufacturing and R&D. The overall project includes tenant improvements, remodel of the existing manufacturing and H Occupancy area, staff rooms and overall building and structural alteration.

PROJECT SUMMARY
ACCO is contracted on a Plan & Spec basis but was asked mid-project, to provide Design Assist services when the owner doubled the quantity of tool bays. ACCO’s services enabled the schedule to remain on track.The facility features 16,000 sq ft Class 10 Cleanroom; 16,500 sq ft of support areas (Equipment Chases); and 20,000 sq ft of Multi Level Equipment Yard.
HVAC systems include 16,000 sq ft Class 10 Cleanroom (918 FFU Units); 16,500 F; 11 AHUs; Chilled Water Central Plant, Boiler Plant; and a Scrubbed Exhaust System (PSP Duct).
Process and Plumbing systems include:
Qty 39 Ultra High Purity Specialty Gas Systems (approximately 60,000 LF); Bulk Gas Systems including CDA, Process Nitrogen, Utility Nitrogen, Utility Oxygen, Process Vacuum, Helium, Argon, Utility Hydrogen; Process Water Systems including Filtered Industrial Cold Water, Process Cooling Water, Ultra-Pure Water, ICW, TW; Process Waste Systems including H2S04, NAOH, ALCL3, CACL3, Acid Waste, Concentrate Acid Waste, HF Waste, Base Waste, Industrial Waste; and Chem Delivery for Waste Plant. Prefabrication was performed concurrently in ACCO’s San Leandro and Colorado shops.
