This project involved retrofitting two floors in an existing multipurpose building to replace facilities scheduled for demolition. The primary purpose was to relocate Building 3 facilities to existing Building 7. Building 3 is currently undergoing demolition under the UCSG Slip 36 project, a project ACCO is also currently executing. The scope included restrooms, locker rooms, laundry facilities, office and workshop spaces, a boat maintenance bay, and a workout area.

PROJECT SUMMARY
To support the interior retrofits, ACCO installed complete plumbing and HVAC systems throughout Building 7. The HVAC scope included DOAS ERVs, split systems, and specialized exhaust fans for the locker rooms, restrooms, laundry facilities, and fume exhaust. The project also required running temporary utilities to support a multipurpose tent, prefab shower trailers, and four pier berth connections. Delivering this exterior utility scope involved sanitary and water connections, including all under-trailer sanitary connections, and routing approximately 1,300 feet of sanitary and water piping to serve the pier berths.
