Bellevue Mechanical Rebrands to ACCO Engineered Systems

Bellevue Mechanical, a premier regional design-build mechanical contractor serving the greater Seattle area, announced that it has adopted the brand of ACCO Engineered Systems, its parent company, effective October 2018. In a move that strengthens its position as the largest mechanical contractor in the Western United States, ACCO Engineered Systems immediately becomes a more competitive force in the Washington design-build construction market.

Bellevue Mechanical, known for its broad capabilities in the design and construction of commercial and industrial mechanical systems was acquired by ACCO in early 2015 to complement its comprehensive mechanical services business. Over the past three years the business has doubled in size and integrated completely into ACCO’s operations.

We are excited about the brand change. Several of our customers are national contractors that recognize the ACCO brand and its strength throughout the Western United States. This is translating to more opportunities to provide our customers with the most cost-effective mechanical solutions while also preserving the local presence and customer service that Bellevue Mechanical has been known for, said Scott Ellis, Seattle Branch Sales Manager, ACCO Engineered Systems.

Since 1934, owners and builders have selected ACCO Engineered Systems to design, install, and maintain more than 250,000 mechanical projects. ACCO is an employee-owned company dedicated to the design, fabrication, installation, maintenance and service of commercial and industrial HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, process piping, electrical and building automation systems.

The forecasts for Pacific Northwest commercial construction totals roughly $3.5 billion year over year for the next few years. Our mechanical offerings in the region now rival that of any large specialty contractor. Bellevue Mechanical has allowed ACCO to elevate its offerings to the greater Seattle marketplace, said John Hansen President, Northern Region, ACCO Engineered Systems.
