    PROJECT SUMMARY

The two-story, 118,000 sf cell therapy manufacturing facility was a challenging project due to a compressed schedule. The new facility was designed to provide GMP manufacturing for clinical supply and commercial product upon potential regulatory approval.

The compressed schedule posed one of the greatest challenges in this project, although the project team was able to deliver this facility in about 14 months. Design, coordination, and construction were all part of the timeline which was completed during the pandemic, requiring implementing and adhering to strict state and federal guidelines. ACCO was able to maintain the construction schedule, adapt to the new norms, and maintained a safe working environment.

All milestones were met and exceeded expectations due to the participation of all trades that started in the coordination phase through the commissioning phase.
