What ACCO Delivered

ACCO’s engineering team completed the mechanical and plumbing design from a 50% design development in four months with the help of P2S Inc. Systems included a central plant consisting of a water-cooled chiller plant, heating hot water plant, domestic hot water plant, and domestic water booster pump system dedicated for the Behavioral Health Center. Five new air handling units located on the existing roof served each building pod. ACCO’s team assisted with the security requirement of the project related to plumbing fixtures and mechanical air distribution selection. This process involved multiple departments within the County of Los Angeles to determine the level of security and self-harm deterrent required for each space.
