Stub Hub Center (formerly Home Depot Center) | Carson, CA

The Stub Hub Center is a 125-acre, $150 million development in Carson, featuring state-of-the-art stadiums and facilities for soccer, tennis, track & field, cycling, lacrosse, rugby, volleyball, baseball, softball, basketball and other sports. ACCO provided a water-cooled package plant that served water-cooled packaged air conditioning units and heat pumps. In addition, ACCO provided distributed heating hot water system.

Project Requirements

Notable challenges for this project were that all work was below grade and pump space was at a premium, and plenum space was tight throughout the facility

The Stub Hub Center is a 125-acre, $150 million development in Carson, featuring state-of-the-art stadiums and facilities for soccer, tennis, track & field, cycling, lacrosse, rugby, volleyball, baseball, softball, basketball and other sports. ACCO provided a water-cooled package plant that served water-cooled packaged air conditioning units and heat pumps. In addition, ACCO provided distributed heating hot water system, and grease duct fabrication and installation. The facility included locker rooms, concessions, a fitness center, and suites.
